先生の紹介
ハワイアンミュージッシャンの父の影響で幼少よりフラを始め、1993年から鎌倉で指導を始めました。
小さい時から踊っておりました私にとりまして、皆様が出来ない事が理解出来ず、最初の一年は大変苦労致しました。生徒さん達のご協力によりどうにか指導方法がわかるようになり、今に至っております。
初心忘れず、奥深いハワイの文化、フラを生徒の皆様とご一緒に勉強し続けたいと思っております。
Influenced by my father, a Hawaiian musician, I started learning hula from an early age and began teaching in Kamakura in 1993.
Having been dancing from a young age, I struggled a lot in the first year as I couldn’t understand what other people couldn’t do. But with the help of my students, I was able to figure out how to teach, and have come to this point.
Without forgetting my original intentions, I hope to continue studying the profound Hawaiian culture and hula together with my students.
ハラウ紹介
ケイキ、ワヒネ、クプナ、カネクラスがあり、皆様ハワイが大好きでフラをこよなく愛し、皆仲良く、楽しく学んでおります。
湘南を中心に活動しており、生徒たちの希望があればコンペティションにも出場しております。
We have Keiki, Wahine, Kupuna, and Kane classes, and everyone loves Hawaii and hula. We all get along well and have fun learning. We are mainly active in Shonan, and students will participate in competitions if they wish.
イベントに寄せて
再開再演おめでとうございます。とても嬉しいです。
今では当然のようになっているハワイの方々とご一緒のコンサートですが、第１回PPHEの時はまだ他にはなく、ハワイの方々とご一緒のステージに上がれる幸せを感じ、とても興奮したのを覚えております。
継続なさるご苦労は多い事と存じますが、素晴らしいコンサートを続けてくださり有難うございます。
これからも益々のご発展を心からお祈り申し上げます。
Congratulations on restarting and re-performing! I am very pleased.
Nowadays, concerts with people from Hawaii have become a given, but at the first PPHE, there were no other opportunities like that, and I remember feeling very excited and I feel honored to be on stage with all the people of Hawaii.
I’m sure it must be difficult to continue, but thank you for continuing to put on such wonderful concerts.
I sincerely hope that you will continue to prosper in the future.
